Monica Brusik Msc Chm, Bsc Acu, Qi Gong Tui Na, Toyohari, Usui Reiki
Acupuncturist in London

Traditional medicine was always the first option in my family. Both of my grandmothers knew the power of plant medicine, energy healing, crystals, lunar cycles, and seasons. If I only knew to write it all down. My parents were also conscious of the importance of a clean diet, purified water, nutritional supplements, modern health technologies as well as traditional yogic practices. Later in life, I realised that these influences laid the foundation of my practice in sharing the knowledge and experience of self improvement and wellbeing, thus continuing my family tradition.

"Monica is a great and caring therapist.
She is an excellent acupuncturist, and has many skills.
She has been very helpful in looking after my over all health issues, and has introduced me to Chinese herbs.
I am recommending her to all my friends.

"I was fortunate to encounter Monica somewhat by chance. Despite initial hesitancy (and slight scepticism) in proceeding with acupuncture for the first time, I felt comletely at ease and trusted her entirely. Her holistic approach identified specific underlying causes and there were improvements to a wide range of (seemingly unrelated) symptoms, from which I had suffered for some time. Monica's approach is thorough, professional, generous and caring. The result was rapid progress and I benefitted tremendously from the treatments. I have no hesitation in recommending her without reservation.

"I have been to a few acupuncturists in my time and have liked them all, but none have been as proficient, detailed and broad yet specific in their approach as Monica. I went with almost daily headaches, rotten sleep at night, trips to the loo for a wee about 20 times a day, and such awful tiredness that I was hitting the snooze button about 6 times before I could drag myself out of bed. Plus waves of searingly hot flushes because I'm at that stage of life. Plus such a foggy head I could barely remember who I was, plus long-term rheumatoid arthritis, which is well controlled medically but pulls my general health down a bit.
After the first appointment (she did needles, suction cups and some Tuina back massage), going to the loo dropped to about 4 times a day and I slept much better for the first three days and had only two headaches that week. After the second appointment (needles, front/leg/arm Tuina massage to address "stagnation")) I had no headaches that week, slept right through apart from one night, and found I was bouncing out of bed feeling fresh in the mornings. Also food cravings died down.
She has referred me to a Chinese Herb centre, and has also directed me online to some arm and back exercises to help me at my desk, some breathing exercises to help with my pathetically shallow lung capacity, and some other small but beneficial measures that have all added up to making me feel like a new person.
I find Monica very competent, very detailed in her insights, very practical in her suggestions, and very warm and humorous too. She's really, really good and I can't recommend her highly enough. She's also treating my daughter who has been stuck with ME for 6 years and for the first time things are visibly getting better. Thank you Monica."

"She's Good - very very good!

The first time I went to Monica I ran for the bus afterwards - something that hasn't happened for a very long time!

"Monica is my favourite therapist in London! I can't recommend Monica highly enough: she is knowledgeable, professional and puts you at ease immediately. I really feel that she cares about the roots of physical problems and works hard to address them through providing comphrensive diet advice as well as her therapies. I have extremely tight shoulders and Monica's massage is one of the best I've ever had. Seeing Monica is always a highlight - I feel so much better afterwards! "

"Monica is by far the best acupuncturist I have been to - she is extremely competent, and has had more of an effect on my health in the last few months than any other acupuncturist I have been to. I have felt stuck with M.E for years and Monica has given me new hope with her techniques, ideas and suggestions, which have already started to help me feel better and happier. I would recommend her to anyone "

"I was fortunate to have some short taster sessions with Monica when I returned to work after a period of absence following breast cancer surgery. My energy levels were really low and I was feeling somewhat anxious. In addition a longterm shoulder problem started to recur. I had tried numerous therapies for this over the past 12 years but none seemed effective. I noticed a difference after seeing Monica and therefore booked longer sessions with her. She gave me excellent dietary advice and exercises to do outside of the sessions. My health and well being have improved so much since seeing her. It is fantastic to have found a therapist like her. She is one of a kind. "

"I reached out to Monica through a friend, because I had severe problems of insomnia and stress since a few months. As a result of that, I also suffered some skin problem in my face, where I had visible red spots, and similar thing on my chest.
I was a little sceptic about the acupuncture techniques as I knew them for my past experiences in other countries. Even so, having hit rock bottom, I had to give it a go.

Through the first sessions, Monica had the ability to connect very deeply with the roots of my problems and she gave me a combination of Chinese herbs to take, and
gave me acupuncture and massage therapy. After the first 3 sessions I was already noticing real improvements and after a few more she healed completely my problems.
I recommend Monica, she is very good in what she does and goes far beyond the surface.
Thank you Monica!"
