Kate Fullerlove
Bowen Technique Practitioner in Brixham

As a qualified Alternative/Holistic Health practitioner treating patients principally with Bowen Technique and NST, I really enjoy helping people to resolve their physical pain and improve their health and sense of well-being.
I'm a great believer in the body's ability to heal and come back into balance, this belief has grown from all the evidence I've seen and experienced since working as a qualified practitioner for more than 17 years.
I recently moved to South Devon from Shropshire, and now treat patients at the beautiful Lupton House in Churston Ferrers, just on the outskirts of Brixham. As a growing and thriving well-being hub in the Brixham locality it is a truly inspiring place from which to work.

Background & Bowen Technique Qualifications

I am a qualified practitioner in the following Holistic treatments:

Bowen Technique
Advanced Practitioner of NST (Neuro-Structural Integration Technique)
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Matrix Re-imprinting using EFT
Homeopath & Flower Essence Practitioner
Reiki

It was the birth of my daughter that prompted me to follow this passion and change my field of work, having always had an interest in Alternative and Holistic medicine. The experience and understanding I have gained over the years is vast and I find it invaluable. I find that all of my skill set can work beautifully together, if appropriate and in keeping with with the wishes of my patients.

My regular Continuing Professional Development, studying and attending courses, ensures an ever increasing skill set with which to help patients re-find a new sense of health and well-being.

My Specialisms

I work mainly with Bowen Technique & NST and am always delighted with the broad range of physical, mental and emotional problems that respond so well to this treatment. Homeopathy and the rest of my skill set are also very useful to have but I will only suggest these if I feel they will be appropriate and if the patient is comfortable with them.
Stress and mental/emotional problems in life often seem to be at the centre of many patients' illnesses; helping patients come back into balance and resolve their physical aches, pain and other medical conditions is always very rewarding.

With Bowen Technique alone I have helped people resolve many problems including the following conditions:

Headaches & migraines
Back pain
Shoulder and Neck pain / Frozen Shoulder
Trapped nerve pain & discomfort
Jaw pain
Tennis / Golfers' Elbow
Wrist and arthritic pain
Hip and pelvic pain
Sciatica

Menopausal problems
PMT and Menstrual pain problems
Stress related illness
Grief, Bereavement and emotional problems
Parkinsons
MS, ME/Chronic Fatigue
Fibromyalgia, Polymyalgia Rheumatism

Approach to Bowen Technique & How I Work

My approach to work is a gentle and reassuring one with Bowen Technique and all of my treatments. I take into account who my patients are, including not only their presenting symptoms but also their medical history and susceptibilities, to help them find well-being once more.
If it is appropriate, I help them identify the possible root and maintaining causes of the pain and "dis-ease" in the longer term, suggesting alternative ways to sort out and help them return to pain free and fulfilling lives.

I always have the patients' best interest at heart and help make them feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible, both physically and emotionally. I treat all clients with the appropriate touch and relevant treatment to help ease their symptoms, creating the right environment for them to move on from their state of pain and "dis-ease". Patient confidentiality is paramount in my work, along with adhering to a professional strict Ethics and Code of Practice.

The wonderful thing about Bowen is that the treatment does not need to continue over a long period of time. Within 2 or 3 treatments patients can generally see if this therapy is for them, with long-term or chronic complaints, and this can be sooner for acute issues.
Giving Bowen Technique treatment as soon as possible after injury, stress or strain can help the body back to a state of well-being very fast and has also been used to prevent recurring injuries. This fact is borne out by the fact that more and more sports people opt for it, including Bear Grylls and footballer Dwight Yorke to name just two.

I always keep in mind that everyone is unique and they come into this life with their own unique patterns and susceptibilities. With the ups and downs of life more and more people are finding help with Holistic treatments to be of real value.

Bowen Technique In Person £50 per 60 minutes

Additional Rate Information

These costs reflect the value of the treatment I give. Although the first appointment is slightly longer in duration (approximately 75 minutes), I still charge £50 to make it as affordable as possible. With Bowen Technique, I generally book patients in for a follow up treatment about 7-10 days later when they book their first appointment. It is important that the patient completes a Confidential Patient Record Form before the consultation; a downloadable copy can be found at the bottom of my website: https://www.bowen-katefullerlove.co.uk/ If Homeopathic Remedies are prescribed alongside other treatment then an extra £15 is charged to cover the costs.

Testimonials

Catherine on 12/06/2017

"Kate has a wonderful approach because she listens my ramblings and complaints and then includes me in the treatments, because she knows my body can heal itself given the required support, release and alignment through homeopathy and Bowen treatments - and now I know it can too.
Thank you Kate"

"I have been visiting Kate on and off for several years and have been amazed how Bowen has helped me. Kate is a warm, kind person and a very good ambassador for her talents. Wise and thoughtful and so often she has been there for me when needed be it prior to an operation, after illness or just when the body is weary mentally and physically. She gives so much and is simply a very nice person to have therapy with!"

Jennifer Austin on 05/07/2017

"I would totally recommend this therapy and I am thrilled with the treatment I have had with Kate. I had a recurrent whiplash injury that I had struggled with for years, after 3 sessions I saw a drastic improvement, and I am now pain free. I see Kate once every 6 weeks as I a do a lot of sport and this enables me to ensure that any strains or aches and pains are dealt with straight away.
