Welcome to my profile. I believe that one of the most important aspects of counselling is the therapeutic relationship, so please do contact me to arrange a free initial 15 minute call.

I am an experienced counsellor and Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, working with clients remotely via the telephone or Zoom video calls, from a person-centred approach. I am also a certified Traumatic Birth Recovery (TBR) 3 Step rewind Practitioner, supporting parents through perinatal/birth trauma.

I offer short and longer term counselling to individuals over the age of 18 as well as working on a time-limited basis.

I am passionate about perinatal mental well being and work with clients experiencing pre and postnatal depression, pre and postnatal anxiety and traumatic birth experiences

I work with women (and their partners) following pregnancy loss (at any stage of pregnancy) and loss of a child. This includes parents who have had to make the very difficult decision to end a pregnancy due to abnormality.

I also work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, poor work/life balance, loss and bereavement, health related issues.

Background & Counselling Qualifications

I have a background in nursing and I hold an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy as a Means to Health, a Diploma in Bereavement Counselling and am a Certified Traumatic Birth Recovery (TBR) 3 Step rewind Practitioner,

I work with clients for a wide variety of reasons including perinatal mental health issues, anxiety and depression, work related stress, relationship issues. I specialise in bereavement work, including pregnancy loss and loss of a child.

Additional Rate Information

Individual client telephone sessions cost £55 per 50 minute session. Students aged 18-22, £45 per 50 minute session. I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation which is a chance to discuss the therapy process and for us to decide if counselling with me is the way forward. Please clarify at the time of making your appointment that this is what you are booking.
