Eveleen Power
Counsellor in Gwynedd

Hi, a very warm welcome… My name is Eveleen. Whatever you need help and support with: because of loss or bereavement, anxiety, depression, low confidence, relationship issues,… my work with you will be warm and caring, respectful and open minded, collaborative and always based on your needs. Together we'll aim to find a better way forward.
It takes courage to seek counselling. Particularly when feeling low or vulnerable, it can be tough, but taking this first step is a sign of tapping into a healthy part of you. Therapy will take you on a path of better self care, compassion and understanding.
Life throws all kinds of challenges at you, often when you least expect it. Past experiences or events in the present can cause anxiety or even derail your own feelings of value, self worth and perspective.  Sometimes it's not enough talking to family or friends about issues you may be experiencing.  You may need somebody to listen to you without judgment and who is fully trained.

My sessions are by video or phone. To help you decide whether I'm the therapist for you, I offer a 15 minute introductory call free of charge and will signpost you should you prefer a different approach.
Therapy can be a one-off single session, or once a week over a short period of time, for example 6 sessions. Or you may want to attend for longer. This depends on what your needs are and we can discuss this at the start, and adjust when needed.
