Approach to Dietitian & How I Work

One of the best things about BWRT is that it doesn't require delving into your past or trying to reframe traumatic memories and experiences. We only need to know how you feel now and how you want to feel instead.

BWRT targets the brain's 'automatic pilot'โ€”what we often call the subconscious. This is the part of your brain that handles tasks without conscious thought, like writing your name, reciting a nursery rhyme, driving, or tying your shoelaces. It's also the part that instinctively catches an object you knock off a shelf.

Unfortunately, this automatic system can also trigger unwanted responses, like depression, panic, anxiety or feeling overwhelmed, without you being able to stop it. That's where I come in, helping you change these automatic reactions to improve your quality of life.
