Ali Lomax
Homeopath in Leatherhead

Hi there, I am a fully qualified and experienced homeopath and have been working for over 10 years now.
My approach to life is positive and has always involved trying new experiences and I have a real affinity with people and other cultures. Travelling has been a wonderful opportunity that I enjoyed, especially living in New Zealand for 5 1/2 years. A sense of humour is also something that I find important and cherish.
I am married and a Mum to two grown up daughters and have always had a passion for natural health and also been aware of the sometimes detrimental effects of chemical medicine.
From my own experiences too, I therefore feel it so important for others to know there is a safe and gentle non-toxic and non-addictive system of medicine to be used.
Homeopathy is well researched and has been around for nearly 300 years. It works alongside conventional medicine which I also find helpful when needed.

Background & Homeopathy Qualifications

I trained and qualified at CHE (The Centre for Homeopathic Education) in London in 2013.
I am affiliated with HINT (Homeopathy International) and previously with the SOH (Society of Homeopaths) and ARH (Alliance of Registered Homeopaths).
I regularly keep updated with continued practitioner development in a variety of seminars, webinars and specific training... including Human Chemistry with Ton Jansen.
I am currently also part of the Homeopathy247 team.
I also very much enjoy and benefit from being in touch with several groups, as well as individual Homeopaths. I partake in regular supervision.
I remain a qualified First-Aider.
My previous career was as a Nursery Nurse and Play Specialist in a variety of environments: The NHS, Social Services, Nursery Schools, Daycare Facilities and with individual families.

My Specialisms

I have always had a passion for working with women and children, particularly with the skills I can bring from my previous career as a nursery nurse. Homeopathy is so helpful when working with children with challenges - it really can help bring them to their full potential... this includes children with ADHD, Autism and Delayed Development. Working with the whole family is often so important, but I also love the fact that Homeopathy can work with any age and stage!
Gut Health is another area where I specialise in using Homeopathy, and you are welcome to come and join me in the @HomeopathyforGutHealth Team on Facebook.
Grief is also a subject that I find Homeopathy can really support.

Approach to Homeopathy & How I Work

I love the fact that a homeopathic appointment so often enables us to get such a good understanding of our health and what our body and symptoms are telling us. This in itself can be healing.
During my appointments, I understand the importance of carefully and sensitively building a good rapport with my patients.
I use a mixture of classical and other more modern homeopathic approaches and methodologies. I also find an element of coaching can be very beneficial.
I work professionally and in accordance to the codes of ethic under HINT (Homeopathy International).
Confidentiality is always of key importance to me.
