With over 15 years of experience as a therapist, I have had the privilege of working with thousands of individuals, notably teenagers in specialized educational settings who have not found success with conventional therapies. This journey has necessitated an innovative, out-of-the-box approach, leading me to explore and integrate diverse therapeutic modalities. Consequently, I have developed a repertoire of techniques that facilitate rapid and effective outcomes, seamlessly complementing traditional methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and talk therapy. They also don't require weeks and months of going over old painful events. My work is rapid and the bulk of the work is done in session one, with a few follow ups for fine tuning if needed.

Background & Hypnotherapy Qualifications

My professional journey includes serving as the therapist for an award-winning mental health program at a school in the North West. I also participated in a documentary on teen mental health, during which I assisted a former England player in overcoming childhood trauma. Additionally, I have been invited to serve on expert panels for psychological research, focusing on brief psychological interventions.

I graduated with a 2:1 BSc in Psychology nearly three decades ago. Since then, my commitment to expanding my therapeutic repertoire has led me to explore various modalities. I am a certified Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) practitioner, hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, and am among the few Percussive Suggestion Technique (PSTEC) Masters globally. Approach to Hypnotherapy & How I Work

Most clients see significant results within one to three sessions. Each session lasts up to 60 minutes, though many are shorter due to the speed of my approach. The majority of the work happens in the first session, with additional sessions available for fine-tuning if needed. You'll feel the difference immediately—there's no waiting weeks to find out if this approach works for you.

We begin by identifying patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are keeping you stuck. From there, we pinpoint key experiences and work to release the emotional charge behind them. This process "unlearns" disempowering emotional lessons, often creating a profound shift on its own and is based on the science of memory reconsolidation. Beyond this, we carefully select and deeply embed new, empowering perspectives using specialized techniques that go far beyond traditional talk therapy—so they feel real, instinctive, and lasting.
