Lianne  Deamer
Mindfulness Practitioner in Havant

Hi, I'm Lianne and I am a qualified and BACP registered counsellor offering short and long term counselling in person and online for anyone aged 16+

Dedicated and empathic, my aim is to help you and encourage you to explore your emotions and feelings that life experiences have created and that feel painful or uncomfortable to be with. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental, and grounded space where our working relationship can flourish and where you, as the client are the expert in your life. Each session is led by you and I encourage you to use your sessions with me in however you feel you need them to be.

All parts of you are welcome.

Where appropriate, I may incorporate some mindfulness techniques into our sessions to help ease any unsettling feelings and also include tuning into your body to see if these feelings are sitting in your body that you may not have been aware of.

Last but not least, I am a lover of mother nature and the spiritual/alternative side of life, myself having a few tattoos, piercings and dreadlocks!

Please do get in touch via counsellingwithlianne@gmail.com or email me here for more information."Just a side note, if you haven't received an email back from me after a few days, please check your junk mail as replies can end up in there.

Background & Mindfulness Qualifications

My experience includes working with anxiety and depression - (looking at what happens for you and how these show up in your life, where they may stem from and ideas around coping strategies), everyday worries and work worries and stresses, suicidal ideation, self-harm, LGBTQIA+ issues, shame, guilt, low self-esteem, spirituality, and others.

Other relative experience that I have includes working in the health and social sector with people with learning and physical disabilities for 10 years, including autism, non verbal communication and ADHD. I have also worked within an LGBTQIA+ counselling charity in London and so I know some of the issues that can arise concerning your mental wellbeing when belonging in this community. I am kink aware too.

Approach to Mindfulness & How I Work

Therapy work with me is led by the client, I like to check in with how your mind and body are feeling as mental health effects both body and mind.
I have a few 'fiddle things' in my therapy room for clients to hold during sessions should they choose and will sometimes use incense sticks.
