As a former HR Director, I know firsthand the intense demands of a high-pressure career, the relentless expectation to be the calm in the storm, and the toll that constant responsibility can take. I've lived the reality of burnout, outwardly everything seemed 'successful' but internally everything was in chaos.
It was during my own period of burnout and recovery that I discovered the power of nervous system regulation and embodied practices. I experienced firsthand how these tools could shift my perspective, release the relentless tension, and bring a deep sense of calm and clarity back into my life. This transformation led me to dive deeply into the science and practice of stress management, mindfulness, and the mind-body connection, exploring everything from yoga and meditation to Gestalt therapy.
Years of training, practice, and teaching have given me a unique insight into the power of these practices—not just theoretically, but through lived experience. I know the challenges that come with being a high-achiever who feels like you should have it all together, even when your inner world is far from peaceful.
