Louise Molloy NLP

Louise Molloy
NLP Practitioner in Marlborough

I first became aware of neuro linguistic programming (NLP) when I began exploring how I could pursue my passion to support young people with their emotional and mental health needs. I soon realised NLP could not only benefit my own life, it could offer huge benefits to other children and adults too, so I completed my NLP and NLP4Kids Practitioner certification training in 2021.

In addition to working with NLP, I also trained to be an integrative counsellor because of my deep passion for helping people live their best lives. Here are a few things that motivated me to complete my training:

Desire to Make a Difference: I've always wanted to contribute positively to others' lives and counselling allows me to support individuals in overcoming challenges and finding their paths.

Empathy and Understanding: I believe in the power of empathy. Training as a counsellor equipped me with the skills to listen deeply and understand diverse perspectives, helping clients feel seen and heard.

Personal Growth: The journey of becoming a counsellor also led to my own personal growth. I learned valuable insights about myself and my values, which enhances my ability to support others.

Empowerment: I am passionate about empowering individuals to discover their strengths and resilience. Counselling provides a platform for clients to explore their potential and make positive changes.

Promoting Mental Well-Being: Mental health is crucial for overall well-being. I wanted to be part of a field that promotes awareness and provides tools for better mental health.

Lifelong Learning: The field of counselling is always evolving. My training allows me to engage in continuous learning, which fuels my passion for helping others.

As a counsellor and NLP practitioner, I can actively contribute to creating a supportive environment where individuals can thrive and lead fulfilling lives.

Approach to NLP & How I Work

First of all, welcome! I'm Louise, a qualified counsellor (Registered Member of the BACP) and NLP Practitioner and I'm passionate about empowering individuals to live their best lives.

Whether you're seeking support for navigating life transitions, managing stress and anxiety, or exploring deeper questions of meaning and purpose, I am here to guide you on your journey.

Every person I meet is unique and therefore there is not one specific therapy that suits all. As an integrative counsellor, I use a range of therapeutic approaches to provide personalised support to meet your individual needs, goals, and preferred ways of learning and growing.

My integrative approach means blends techniques from various counselling modalities, including: person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, transactional analysis and Neuro Linguistic Programming.

I also offer the opportunity to work creatively in our sessions, should it feel appropriate for you to do so. Working creatively can provide your mind with the freedom to roam and realise a deeper sense of self-awareness and understanding, sometimes finding a new perspective along the way. Activities such as doodling, modelling with Playdoh, using natural objects or imagery to share your story or nesting dolls to explore your self to mention a few. If this is something of interest do let me know on our initial call.

I will provide you with a safe and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. I'll help you to make sense of your personal experiences, which may provide you with new perspectives on your past and the way you view your future. Together we will find new ways to manage or change the difficult situations you are facing.

I offer a warm, compassionate understanding and a confidential space, where together we can make sense of how you feel.

Counselling can be short or long term, focusing on a specific issue such or addressing wider life challenges.

At an initial, no obligation, telephone consultation we can discuss how I can best support you and how we will work together.

I offer appointments online or, face-to-face in Marlborough, Wiltshire or Newbury, Berkshire.
