Approach to Psychotherapy & How I Work

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that each individual, couple, or family has a unique story, and I consider it a privilege to be part of their journey towards healing and growth. I practice with a deep commitment to systemic thinking, which means I view emotional and relational struggles not just as individual experiences but as part of the larger context in which they occur—whether that's within family systems, intimate relationships, or broader social and cultural dynamics.

At the heart of my work is the collaborative process. I see therapy as a partnership, where my clients are not passive recipients but active participants. Together, we explore the difficulties they are facing, and I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where their voice is central to the therapeutic process. This collaborative approach fosters trust and allows clients to take ownership of their healing, empowering them to make sustainable changes in their lives.

In my work with individuals, I tailor my therapeutic style to the specific needs and goals of each person. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship difficulties, I focus on creating an environment where they feel safe, heard, and understood. My EMDR training allows me to offer specialised trauma-focused therapy, helping individuals process distressing memories and move toward emotional recovery.
