Approach to Psychotherapy & How I Work

I am an integrative counsellor who use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help clients explore and cope with their problems. I believe that no single approach can help all clients in all situations, so I tailor their approach to each individual's circumstances.

Here are some things I input whilst working as an integrative counselling:
Tailored approach
I use techniques from different modalities, such as person-centered counselling, psychodynamic theory, existential therapy, or cognitive behavioural techniques.
Non-judgmental relationship
Integrative counsellors aim to build a trusting relationship with their clients.
Self-awareness
Integrative counselling helps clients develop self-awareness so they can understand the causes of their concerns and set goals to improve their satisfaction with life.
Changing needs
Clients' needs may change over time, so as an integrative therapists I may use different approaches at different points in the therapy process.
