I am a fully qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist of over 17 years. l am experienced in working within the trans and gender questioning community and I am a specialist in alternative lifestyles (open, swinging, poly etc,) LGBT, Kink, fetish and BDSM .

I am also an adoptee of the Forced Adoption era of 1949 and 1974 in the UK. Although I have no 'training. in this area I have 55+ years of lived experience and I welcome enquiries from other Adoptees who wish to discuss the affect your adoption has had on you.

What is Psychosexual Counselling (Sex Therapy)?
Couples and Individuals come to Psychosexual Counselling with a variety of concerns. Maybe they have noticed a difference in their libidos, or lack of desire for sex. Perhaps their sexual relationship has changed after having children. Maybe there are specific issues such as Erectile Dysfunction, Anorgasmia (inability to orgasm) Premature Ejaculation, Dyspareunia (painful sex) Gender Dysphoria, Sexual Orientation Confusion.

You may even have a fetish or a kink such as BDSM, D/s, Adult Baby, shoe fetish, rubber or latex and you are uncomfortable with such feelings. You could be involved in the swinging or dogging scene or interested in polyamory and it is causing you and or/ your partner issues.

Your problem could be fairly recent or long standing. Sometimes sexual issues can come after a previously good sex life. Your sexual confidence could be low after the end of a relationship. Maybe you are not sexually confident and need a little help and perhaps even education.

What is Relationship Therapy?
Relationships can be wonderful but when they go wrong it can be so very painful, so painful that there may not seem a way to make things better. Maybe there has been an infidelity issue or stress after having a baby. Work or financial worries can have a huge impact in your relationship. You could feel that you are going round in circles arguing over the same issues time and time again and need a bit of guidance to help make things clearer for you both. You could just be newly divorced or separated and need a bit of support to help you move forward in your life. Whatever relationship worries you (both) have we can work together to find a suitable solution for you.

What is Sex Coaching?
Sex coaching is different to traditional Psychosexual Therapy in that if focuses not on sexual dysfunctions but on what you want out of sex. In the session we will look at the sex life you have now and where it could be improved and how. We will look at your core sexual beliefs and myths you may hold and explore your fantasies and desires culminating in how to have the fulfilling sex life you have always wanted.

Your session may include homework that could be anything from watching films to researching or reading literature, drawing or writing, whatever works for you/us at the time.

Sexual Diversity
Do you have a kink or fetish? Do you have feelings about wanting to be dominant or submissive? Are you uncomfortable with these feelings or simply wanting to understand them? I can offer you a knowledgeable non pathologizing ear.

Approach to Psychotherapy & How I Work

I work with multi modalities such as humanistic, behavioural, solution focused and Imago. I believe that one type of therapy cannot fit all and therefore use my knowledge of others to tailor therapy and counselling to fit the needs of the individual or couple.
I know for some it can be hard to talk. Therefore i use whatever you are comfortable in using to be able to tell your story and use a language and understanding that you are familiar with. This could be art, sculpture, songs. literature or prose to name but a few.

I am more than happy to work online using various methods such as Google Duo, Whatsapp, Zoom etc. Enabling me to work with clients all over the world
